A film by Elsie Nelson Brown
Shot and edited by Elsie Nelson Brown, age 9, a day in the life of a third grader explores life from the perspective of a third grader. Literally. Hang on while she spins on the monkey bars with a go-pro strapped to her helmet! For a soundtrack, Elsie recorded herself practicing the piano and the fiddle, which is part of her normal day, so it fit with the theme.
Elise entered her film in the SnowDance Film Festival at Holden Village, where it won first prize in the 18-and under category. She will join a panel of filmmakers discussing their projects during the 2017 Festival at Holden Village in the North Cascades.
